There are limited amenities along the Medicine Bow Rail Trail in the form of businesses that cater to those using the trail. For the nearest lodging, food and bike rentals, check the links below.

Bike Rentals

Bike rentals are available in Laramie where there are three bike shops.  If you’re looking for mountain bike or gravel bike rentals, give the Pedal House in Laramie a call.

Lodging and Dining

There are plenty of lodging options in Laramie but the nearest overnight accommodations in a town are in Centennial.  If you’re looking for a wonderful locally owned and operated motel there, check out the Mountain View Historic Hotel and Cafe.

The WyColo Lodge, located just a short detour from the Rail Trail along Highway 230, offers lodging and food.  It is a great lunch option, too.

Located at the northern end of the Rail Trail is the Albany Lodge that also offers lodging and dining options.

Food and Water

Dining options along the Rail Trail are at the WyColo Lodge and Albany Lodge, with links above under lodging.  Otherwise, be sure to carry what you need for the day since there are no other food or water options along the route.
