The Medicine Bow Rail Trail is 21 miles long. Being nonmotorized makes it a challenge to maintain since volunteers also go nonmotorized. To keep up the effort, the Friends of the Medicine Bow Rail Trail have a number of Section Leaders. The job of each leader or section team is to maintain a specified section of the Rail Trail through the summer and fall months.
